Our camera takes pictures!

O.k., so we got this camera a few months ago and I've been kinda scared to venture away from the "auto"setting. Occasionally I turn it to the "picture of the face" setting because I assume this setting is for taking pictures of people. Obviously I know nothing about cameras or photography and I am not ashamed of this "disability", but I decided to get a little adventurous and use some of the other settings. I turned to the setting labeled "Tv". I have no clue what this means, but when I turn to it, it gives me options the others don't give. I'm able to change the coloring. I can do that on a computer program with no problemo, but to do it from the camera- NO WAY! Oh, and our camera takes video. Yep, video. Pretty nifty. I know, I know, welcome to this century. You have to understand though. It's not like I'm way out in space when it comes to technology. I know a lot about computers and programs. I taught with a Smart Board and can figure out how to create whatever my little heart desires using whatever technological wonder placed in front of me, we have just never had money for a video camera or regular camera. We've always had the point and shoot kind with no bells or whistles. Now, I feel invigorated with all of these new possibilities. Maybe I can take a picture worth looking at. O.k., that one is a long shot, but I like to dream. Well, I took a few pics of the babe and he is cute. The actual photo's need a lot of work, but he makes up for it. Enjoy.
