I'm getting worse at this updating thing. Mike has done the last few and that is very uncharacteristic of him. I think he's tired of waiting for me to post. BUT, I am going to fill you in now, so that should count for something.
First, Brayden has the beginning of a double ear infection. Poor guy. Upside, he's sweet as ever and doesn't complain at all. Another upside, the boy weighs 16 pounds, 8 ounces. Yeah, he's a 3 month old in a one year olds body. That formula is treating him well!
Another bad thing: Anna has to have the growth on her eye lid removed in surgery. She's a trooper and is just fine because "the lady is a mommy doctor!" So, I guess all is well.
Have you heard of S.T.O.P? It stands for "Safe Tables Our Priority". It focuses on food borne illnesses like E.coli and salmonella. It helps find solutions and preventative ways of dealing with these problems. Because I almost died from E.coli, they want to use my story on their web site. They want pictures and everything. Strange how almost dying can help other people.
I went with Beth to the Farmers Market today. If you have a chance to go to a Farmers Market, do it. It's so fun. I've been a couple times and I love it. The old ladies have adopted Brayden and I get a HUGE amount of produce for an itty bitty price. Today I splurged on some cheese made by a Polygamist group and some wheat bread sold by the husband of the actual baker. It's fun to learn stories of all these farmers, artists, bakers, crafters, and so on. They are great people and they make some great things. Next time you are bored on a Saturday morning, call me and we'll go together. I never get sick of it.
