Oh, tender!

A few things that this mother has enjoyed in the past week. First, the Mother's Day Tea Party at Anna's school. So cute. We brought blankets to sit on in the school with our child and they did a little program for us. Then the kids served the mom's some snacks. Anna was SO excited to serve me. She loaded up on treats too! She knows her mommy well. Brayden enjoyed the day because he got to ransack the shelves in the Montessori. I love my sweet daughter.

Next was Mom's Day. I got a menu with breakfast items listed and I got to choose a yummy breakfast made by Mike. French Toast, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, and apple juice. Yum. Anna gave me one of her crowns straight out of her own collection. Quite the sacrifice on my behalf. Tyson made me a designer necklace- one of a kind- and yes, I did wear BOTH of them to church on Sunday. Am I not the best Mom in the world? It was fun. Mike got me some good smelling stuff from Bath and Body and some nice cards from him and the kids. He also got me a cute picture frame.

Today, my little Tyson graduated from Kindergarten. Oh it was so cute and so sad and so happy and did I mention so CUTE! They came walking down the middle isle in the cutest cap and gowns. They sung some songs for us, stood in the front looking CUTE, sung some more songs, got diplomas (real ones BTW) and then played a DVD slide show (made by me and Mike). At the end they got some massive cupcakes and the rest of us got brownie bites (no good- I didn't have breakfast and ate like 4 of them). They got to keep the tassel, got a place mat made by them and the teacher, and Mike and I made copies of the DVD for all the parents in his class. I will post some pictures later. We went to a splash park to celebrate and they are all wasted now. Especially Bray. He's screaming in his crib as we speak. Anyway, love mom hood this week. Yes, I take it week by week (sometimes day-by-day, hour-by-hour, SECOND-by-SECOND) but today is a good one. Stay posted for the CUTE pictures!
