Dinosaurs and Lagoon!

This past week we've been in Salt Lake having FUN! It's been great to have a family vacation. We left on Tuesday. We stopped in Filmore to take a break (oooh, I know you're jealous) then on to the point of the mountain (Provo area) to go to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. So much fun. We loved it! The kids enjoyed seeing the dinosaur life (or ex-life in this case) and playing with the kids exhibits. Brayden just loved having a place to run. At one section there was a little cave for the kids to climb around in. All three went CRAZY going in and out. I think they would have stayed there all day. Mike and I were amazed at the fossils. WOW! They were amazing.

When we were done we got some more info about Thanksgiving Point and have decided we will explore it more on our next visit. We went to Grandma and Papa Titus' house to stay. On Wednesday we went to Lagoon-A-Beach. I think everyone enjoyed getting wet. Brayden LOVED the lazy river. We all took turns with him on our laps going around and around the river. The boys (Alex and Tyson) went down a few slides but mostly spent time in the kids section. Anna was really sad because she wasn't big enough to go on the slides. She sure was brave enough though. I felt bad that she couldn't do it. She did play with the boys a bit and had fun in the river. Mike and I played on the slides and with the kids. Brayden got tired and took a nice nap. In fact, all of the babies slept at the same time! Mandi brought a little boy she watches and Darek. It was so cute how they all fell asleep in the strollers.

On Thursday we went to Lagoon. It was 100 degrees and a bit humid. We did ok though. We did a lot of the little kid rides. My mom watched the kids while the parents went on the roller coasters. Ty and Alex went on a few roller coasters too :) Again, Anna REALLY wanted to go, but was too short. We kept her as happy as we could about it, but she was pretty bummed. The kids had saved money for the trip, and Papa Winslow had given them some money, so they spent it all on some toys.

There were a few mishaps. Ty had a hard time now and then being nice which made some of the time difficult, but nothing that wasn't fixable. We ran into some problems with our tires (which my mom and dad helped us with), but all in all, we had a good time. It was fun getting away doing something as a family. There are about a million pictures......
