Great Birthday

I had a really fun few days! I turned 29 today! Mike surprised me with a trip to Zion to do some hiking for a few hours while his mom watched the kids. It was so nice to hang out with my best friend for awhile. We never get time to ourselves. It was so beautiful out there and weather was perfect. He got me a cell phone (mine was lost by a child about 6 months ago). We were up for new ones so he got the free ones for both of us and they match (ah cute). When we came home he got to come to my show while Krista and John watched the kids. Today was conference so we stayed home all day. I didn't even step outside the whole day. Beth adn Chad came over and had dinner, cake and ice cream since his b-day is on Tuesday. We did this little double party thing. It was fun and relaxing. I got some great presents from my family members. Thanks everyone for everything! I got a lot of clay stuff. I haven't done anything with it for a LONG time. I have been reading up on it and have really wanted to spend some time playing with it. Today I did a little project to give to Anna. It is far from perfect. I really had a hard time with the arms. The clay was too soft and I couldn't make them look good. Anyway, even though I had some mess-ups, it was fun starting up again. I've learned a few new techniques that really helped and I hope I can get better at it. Here's the little girl I made today.....
