First, I though you would like a few pictures since I've been holding them hostage for awhile. The first is a boredom shot. The kids were bored and driving me crazy, so I pulled out some water and paint brushes and let them "paint" me. I was cold after, but it kept them happy and occupied for a half hour before bed. The second is of a lovely desert we had after a lovely dinner. I love having food :)
So, get the whole desert out of your mind now because I'm on to a poo story. Welcome yet again randomness. This isn't a kid poo story, and don't fret, it's not an adult poo story either. It's a cat poo story. Even worse, right? Ty came to me this morning (while I'm getting ready and just after Mike left- of course) to tell me that Sophie had just pooed on him. He showed me the poo on his arm. "Go put your arm in the sink and scrub it until there is no skin left!" My reply was much like any other mothers would be. Then, with my hair half done and while wearing a black skirt, I hunted down the cat and had Ty lay on her. It looked as though she had had an "accident" all over her leg. Since her leg is fur, it's a little harder to wash off. After using about 100 wipes and pulling out half of her hair, I think I got it all (but my black skirt was covered in hair). I've never heard her scream quite like that before. I don't care though.....anything is better then her spreading cat poo all over my house. Blah! I have decided that cleaning a cats bum is not my favorite morning activity though :)
Changing gears, those who would like to come to Anna's Dance Recital, let me know ASAP. I will be buying tickets by next Tuesday. It will be held at DHHS on Saturday, May 22nd @ 7:30 pm. Just look for the adorable one on stage- that will be her :)
Likewise, if any of you would like to support our band concerts, those are all coming up as well (and they are free)! The first one is Mike's Jazz Band. It's tomorrow at 7:30 at DHHS. There is a Fine Arts Night on Monday at 7 pm (this is a joint concert with all of the arts- it's a really fun concert to attend). My band concert is on May 11th at 6 pm at DHHS with all 100 of my cute little instrumentalists. They are AWESOME! And the last one is May 12th at 7:30 at DHHS and that is Mike's AWESOME Concert Band. Our hope is that Mike can make it through this concert season without falling off the stage :)
Ok....that's all.......
