1. SUPAF SUPAF SUAPF. It's that time of year again. We went to online registration this year and I am LOVING that people are taking advantage of it. Less money counting, easy to enter people into the computer, and just mighty convenient for everyone. We have had about half of the entries come by mail and the other half online. I'm very happy about that. The deadline is tomorrow. I'm already only 100 entries short of what we had last year, but since there is plenty more coming in by mail I'm guessing I have at least another 100 to register before I can start scheduling.
2. Brayden is sick.....really sick. Today is much better then the last few days, but man, I was worried. We couldn't get his fever to break yesterday and he has had a pretty awful cough. I took him in last night and they say it's bronchitis with a really nasty throat thing. He did sleep last night and that helped a bunch. Hope I can go back to work tomorrow.
3. Anna is selling Girl Scout Cookies (as mentioned below). I have had a blast walking around the neighborhood with her. She has no fear when knocking on doors and asking people for orders. She doesn't ever want to stop either. She wants to meet her goal and she is willing to stay out there until she reaches it. I think it's great. It creates some nice bonding time as well. What an amazing little girl I have.
4. Tyson is really doing well right now. He has a wonderful best friend (Travis) that lives across the street from us. They are glued at the hip whenever they are both at home. He is starting to be really against us moving because of his friends and who can blame him. I remember feeling like that as a kid when people would move. I'm just glad we'll still be in town so they can play but I do worry about what he will feel like when we do move.
5. The house is.....well still in the air. Our carpool ditched us for other schools, so last week we were pretty sure we were just going to pick up and move across town. Mike figured out some things with his schedule so we are going to see if we can last here for another few months. We still have no notice of foreclosure and the "owners" haven't told us anything either, so we are saving money and just waiting.
6. My health is amazing (in comparison to a month ago). I haven't had a seizure in 2 weeks. I have only had two days that I would call "bad" and the rest have been just awesome. Can't wait to try and get off the meds now. I am very optimistic about this whole new life.
7. Mike has decided (pretty officially) that he does not want to be the Staff Developer next year. It's not TOTALLY official because they have to find another class for him to teach in order for him to be full time. If they can't find another class, then he's pretty much stuck with the job. He's ok with that if it has to happen, but he just really wants to teach music.....and only music.
