Anna Quote:

Brayden spilled his drink at dinner. Mike was annoyed and right when he bent down to clean it up Anna rolled her eyes and said in a "mom" voice, "Welcome to MY world!"

Story #1:

I pulled onto the road that is on the side of my school last week. I noticed a rather large, brown cow strolling down the street. Um...ok. Odd, yes, but the school is out across the street from fields and I figured this cow obviously found a whole in the fence. I parked my van and when I got out the said cow was behind my vehicle. It didn't see me and kept walking past. I shut the door which startled the huge mass and it immediately stopped and looked at me. It then mooed louder and uglier than any other cow I've heard (coming from a city girl that doesn't say much). I freaked out and ran to the door scared out of my mind that it was going to chase me and trample me to death. I went to the office and told them about the cow (I must have sounded like a moron) and the officer and vice principal went out to investigate. That was a first in my career :)


Story #2:

I was telling the kids about the logistics of SUPAF the other day and they asked how we were going to transport our instruments to our venue. I told them that if the bus didn't have bins underneath then I would bring my truck to haul the instruments. A little girl looked at me and said, "Mrs. Winslow, you do NOT drive a truck. You have Mini-van written all over you!"

Sad thing is that I drive a mini-van. My students know me too well.


Story #3:

I was at Wal-Mart with Brayden and we were cutting through the women's clothes to get to the front of the store. We were going past the bras when Brayden yelled out, "Mommy, you have boobies too! You have different boobies. There's your boobies!"
