Everyone was thrilled to start the new school year. Even Mike and I have had pretty good starts so far. I end up being so bad at getting pics on the first day due to all of our crazy schedules, but I managed to get them taken on the first day of Brayden's pre-school. He was not nervous at all and he loves it. It's sort of weird. I have always been able to schedule the kids to be at pre-school while I am at work, but that couldn't happen this time, so he's at the babysitter int he morning and then 3 days a week he goes to preschool while I'm not at work. I have felt guilty, but then I get to go volunteer at the kids schools, ride lots of miles on my bike, grocery shop, clean up the house.......it's amazing! So....the guilt is fading a little, but I sincerely do miss having Bray with me all the time. He is my best buddy and I truly love hiving him around. Here are some photos:
First day! He posed this little fake smile for me. He was more interested in playing than me being there, so after I caught on that I wasn't needed anymore, I left. The car seemed very empty as I drove away :(
They don't look happy. They weren't listening all morning and we were late. I was frustrated and yelled at them right before this picture. Yeah right mom. We aren't smiling at you!
