Our Sweet Nephew

My little nephew Ian Jacob Wood died today. He only lived a few months, but he changed lives in the short time he was on Earth. We were so looking forward to having him in our lives, but his little body was to weak and he passed away. My heart has been aching for my sister, Mandi, and her husband, Ryan, as they have had to go through this trial. We've all just cried. Trials like this bring us closer to those things that are eternal and I know that little baby is in a place of comfort and joy. He must be a very special little person to not have to endure this world and to go back home so quickly to Heavenly Father. Even knowing that God has a plan, it's hard to accept it sometimes. Right now, I know the heart ache that I feel doesn't even touch what my sister and her husband feel. I want them to know that we love them and we are here for them.
