SUPAF began yesterday. There were a few little problems, but nothing huge and they were easily solved. The piano sessions will end today and strings and vocal begin tomorrow.
Last Thurs. Brayden got sick again, but this time really bad. We took him in on Thurs and they said to watch him. Well, we have. We've watched him throw up meals, cough, stay up all night crying, falling asleep exhausted on the floor and just turn into a totally different baby. Mike took him in again yesterday while I was at the event and they say he has a double ear infection and RSV. He's so sick and miserable. I have had him with me all day today and because there were so many wonderful volunteers this morning, I came home so he could have a nap. We have been giving him nasal spray and sucking stuff out or his nose. He's on an antibiotic that may or may not work depending on if the ear infection is bacterial or not. The doc. also gave us a prescription to the RSV clinic where they use tubes to suck all the mucus out of the babies chests. That's how they keep them out of the hospital. It couldn't be worse timing for him to get so sick, but I'll do whatever needs to be done for him first. That's why I'm so grateful for the amazing help for the RSVP volunteers and the Exchange Club right now so that I don't have to be there if I don't need to be. It's hard, however, after doing so much hands on work to trust the actual event to others to run, but I'm organized and that is why I can leave. I have given them all specific jobs and the tools to complete them, so it's all good.
And just to update you, Anna is not going to be in Annie- she was too young- but I'm sure this girl will audition for something again. She loves it.

Poor little Brayden, sounds kinda scary that he's so sick. I hope the meds work and he gets better quick. You're a great mom, I don't know how you do it all. I'll bet little Anna would have been great in Annie but she'll get something else - she's so cute, I love all the pictures you post of the kids.
Oh, sad to hear about your baby. I hope he gets better soon! Good luck with the festival!
It always seems like kids get sick at the most inconvenient times... but it definitely gives perspective as to what really matters. I hope he feels better soon, though!
