Randomly Awesome!

This is my pantry. All 2 square feet of it. This is the only place I have built into my house for all non-perishable food including my food storage (note I have close to none). My cookbooks live here, my vases, some of our small appliances, napkins, plastic and paper utensils/plates, baggies, sauces, cereals, canned foods, etc. Anyway, it looks like a disaster, but it is organized- I swear. Why in the world would I take a picture of my horribly small pantry and but it on my blog for the world to see? Good question. I'm glad you asked. I found a contest where you can win a pantry organizing system worth $1000! Yeah baby! You just have to give them a picture and a blurb about why your pantry sucks to win. I should win, don't ya think? Seriously, whoever built my house did a great job in designing the layout and all, but they forgot to add any kind of storage suitable for the number of people that could fill this house. There wasn't even a coat closet when we moved in. Come on! We do wear coats- even in St. George, and we need a place to store all of our winter gear for the one time a year that it snows. Mike and I have these secret little plans in our heads on how to expand our storage inside and outside of this house. They are quite genius if I may say so, but Mike will need to quit his job, acquire a new skill, and become a CEO somewhere important for that to happen. Until then, I will keep entering contests :)
