Uh oh

Update on Ty's dentist thing: I was amazed by my son! He did a good job. He got nervous in the car on the ride over, but when he got in the seat and picked a movie, he was just fine. He screamed once when he felt the needle, but that was it. It took about 30 min. and he came out feeling "a little weird" but was great. I also had two very well behaved little people with me during the whole thing. I thought this would be mass chaos with Tyson thrashing around, Anna pouting, and Bray engaging in a seek and destroy mission, but no, all was well. Ty and Anna both got ice cream certificates and we went tonight to Arctic Circle to get the vanilla cones. This was the point that Ty broke down. He looked at me after we got the ice cream and said "Mommy, I feel like I'm going to cry." I told him it was ok then he burst into tears and laid on my lap for awhile. He didn't even touch his ice cream. We came home and he took a bath and asked if he could go to bed right away. NOT like Ty at all. When I tucked him in he was just lying there. Usually he's bouncing off the walls. I took his temp and he was at 101. Gave him some meds and he was out cold. Not sure if it's the illness that we all have, the tooth, or a mixture, but I'll be monitoring the poor guy.


Tyson is SO excited for the Dentist tomorrow. I've tried to explain what will happen without freaking him out. I've tried to delicately mention the pain part, but really he is clueless as to what is coming. He's just excited to watch the movie. I think they should put him all the way out. Really, I think as soon as he sees that needle he is going to flip. Updates to come......
