It Begins

Hi. I've been posting so much that it seems even a week break is too long. We are alive. We are playing in the pit orchestra for the premier of the musical "Great Expectations" for the Utah Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City. We started on Tuesday and will be rehearsing for another 1 1/2 weeks. Cedar is about 1 hour from our house, we have to tote the kids along, and rehearsals start early. To reduce the travel, we have been staying in Cedar at my mom-in-law's home. Mike's bro and mom have been kind enough to watch the kids while we are working and we have enjoyed the cool weather. So.....now the real part of our summer begins.....the "non-break" part. It's all good though. Playing our instruments is hardly work- it's very fun and we work with fun people as well.

Other news....my little sis had a baby shower today. She is due in September and is having a little boy child :) It was fun! We all went out to Pirate Island after and ate (I'm still very full) and the kids + dads/uncles went and played games. We also had Bray's stitches removed today. Yikes! Poor kid screamed his guts out...but they are out! SO....if you don't hear from me (us) for another week or so, it's because we are playing....I mean working, in Cedar. I'll try to remember to take some pictures to post next time.

So are you staying in Cedar every day? I will be up quite a few times. Once for the Green Show. Hopefully for one showing of Much Ado About Nothing, and other times. My goal is once a week while I am in Utah. So let me know what your schedule is.
