I told you I'd have some pictures, but I don't. I did bring the camera this week to Cedar, but didn't take even one picture! Slacker! I'm ok with it though. I've been called worse (I'm sure of it).

The show is going well. It's been an interesting situation....this being a new show and all. The composer is involved in the rehearsals and he is a great guy. Our music director, Jeremy Mann, is also amazing. We have worked with him before and as always, I find him to be the most pleasing human being alive. Wonderful to work with both of these guys. The pit musicians are likewise very pleasant and I think we are coming together really well. I'm so glad to be playing with DJ again. He inspires me to be better and I have a lot of fun trying to match his style and sound while we play. Mike has a new mouthpiece that has been helping him reach the upper range. He's a bass bone player and this part is way above his usual range. It's taxing, but he's loving the challenge.

The kids have been having a blast with Grandma and Matthew. Matthew has been a huge help playing with the kids every morning while we work. He takes them to movies, the park, "swimming" in the kiddie pool out back, and the kids can't get enough. We've heard numerous times that Matthew is more fun than us :)

We've been sick the last little bit with weird fevers. First Anna, then Tyson, then Bray and I got it the same day this week. Anna's were really high- 105 range- and we got her to a doc right away. Hers was most likely related to her intestinal issue. Ty's fevers were low grade with no other symptoms. Brayden's were the same. Mine were high and related to some throat thing. I tested negative for everything else, so they just gave it a name and sent me off with some meds (at least that's my theory). Mike isn't sick yet, but I think he needs to start the Airborne- I'm sure he's next.

Soooo, pretty dull. Nothing super interesting. I should start making up lavish stories about crazy things- new cars, expensive trips to the Caribbean, me cooking GOOD dinners (ha ha). Here's to dreaming!
